We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Lead to join our Marketing team on a fixed-term contract basis. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, engage our target audience, and drive meaningful interactions across all relevant platforms. You will be instrumental in shaping our online presence and fostering a vibrant community around our brand.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content (including graphics, videos, and copy) for all social media channels.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance optimization to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience sentiment to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with followers.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated campaign execution.
  • Explore and leverage User-Generated Content (UGC) to build authenticity and social proof.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Expertise in social media strategy development and execution across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong creative skills, including experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience in managing paid social media advertising campaigns and understanding of paid media creative best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively and track campaign performance against KPIs.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution.
