The Brand Marketing Specialist will be a hands-on, agile contributor supporting Blue Bottle Coffee cafés and local marketing initiatives in Hong Kong. Guided by our core brand values, this role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with cafés and cross-functional teams, and is excited to learn by doing.
This role will focus primarily on café-led marketing execution, ensuring brand and product initiatives are thoughtfully localized and brought to life across cafés and key customer touchpoints. Working closely with Café Operations, Product, and Creative partners, the Brand Marketing Specialist will support the planning and delivery of locally relevant marketing programs, including in-café assets, café events and activations, experiential moments, and localized digital and social storytelling.
The Brand Marketing Specialist will help ensure cafés are well supported with clear marketing tools, timelines, and guidance, enabling strong and consistent execution in a high-velocity retail environment. They will also contribute to gathering customer and café feedback, learning how to measure impact and refine future initiatives. Through this work, the role plays a meaningful part in shaping how the Blue Bottle Coffee brand shows up in Hong Kong cafés and local culture.

You Will

  • Support the planning and execution of external communications and integrated marketing initiatives, under the guidance of the leadership team, ensuring consistent brand expression across cafés, digital platforms, and local market channels.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining marketing calendars and seasonal concept plans, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to manage timelines and deliver initiatives efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Support the development and execution of brand stories and marketing campaigns — from early planning and localization through café and digital launch, ongoing updates, and basic performance tracking.
  • Partner with local Product, Channel, and Café Operations teams, as well as external creative vendors, to support the production of marketing assets and café-facing tools for product launches, campaigns, and new café openings (NCOs).
  • Collaborate with the Product team to help localize and land clear, compelling communications for seasonal product launches across café and digital touchpoints.
  • Work closely with Product and Café Operations teams to support the planning and execution of café marketing tactics and visual merchandising, ensuring readiness and consistency across locations.
  • Collaborate with creative and production partners to support the development of content, ensuring written communication (in both Chinese and English) and imagery are on-brand, culturally relevant, and aligned with key messages.
  • Support the execution of locally relevant marketing activations and campaigns, with a strong emphasis on digital and social channels, to drive customer awareness, engagement, and community connection.
  • Identify and support collaboration opportunities with local community members, artists, and like-minded businesses that reflect Blue Bottle’s values, assisting with outreach, coordination, and execution.

You Have

  • 4+ years of experience in Brand, Product, Retail, or Digital/Social Marketing, gained in an in-house or agency environment. Experience with content creation, PR, events, or experiential marketing is a plus.
  • Experience working within brand-led retail, lifestyle, luxury, design, or F&B businesses is strongly preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the Hong Kong digital and social ecosystem, with experience developing campaigns for local platforms and audiences.
  • Proven ability to support integrated marketing campaigns across café, digital, social, and experiential touchpoints.
  • Confidence in writing and editing content in both English and Chinese, with sensitivity to tone, cultural nuance, and customer context.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across regional and global teams.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin preferred).
  • A genuine passion for coffee, hospitality, and brand experience — and a love for Blue Bottle Coffee.
