We’re looking for a Delivery Solutions Manager Last Mile to join our Operations team and play a pivotal role in defining, building, scaling and optimizing our last mile operational processes and partnerships as we continue to grow and expand our offering.
Your Role
As Delivery Solutions Manager Last Mile, you will:
Take full ownership of our entire set of Delivery Service Providers (DSP) for Courier, Express and Parcel (KEP) and be the inhouse expert for all last mile topics.
Develop and execute dedicated strategies for last mile network optimization with deep dives for each market and DSP/KEP to enhance our customer service proposition, including concrete milestones and goals.
Define relevant KPIs and SLAs to monitor contract compliance, steer and manage DSP/KEP performance and implement suitable business reviews.
Set up and align budgets per market and DSP/KEP, monitor cost developments closely, and implement corrective actions if necessary.
Optimize claims management and develop strategies for loss reduction and on-time delivery.
Conduct relevant tenders, implement supplier contracts and SLAs as well as drive cost optimization projects for all DSP/KEP.
Serve as the primary contact for all DSP/KEP-related topics and handle escalations for your stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Procurement, Business Intelligence, Product Development) to align operational strategies with overarching business goals.
Your Profile
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or any related field.
Experience: 3+ years in last mile delivery solutions management at a major 3PL, Retailer or other D2C/B2C business.
Network: Proven track record of managing international parcel providers (e.g., DHL, UPS, Amazon, DPD, etc.) and line-haul service providers (e.g., Seven Senders, Hey World, DHL Freight, etc.).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel or GSheets, familiarity with tracking providers (e.g., ParcelPerform) and project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Monday.com).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Hands on: Eager to learn, take on new challenges and move the company forward.
