XOXO Soda is a fast-growing drinks brand on a mission to shake up the soft drinks space. With strong early traction and ambitious growth plans, we are now entering an exciting scaling phase across the UK and internationally.
To support this next stage, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to act as a true operator and right hand to our founders, helping bring structure, pace and alignment across the business.
The Role
This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. This is a hands-on, commercially minded operator and a visible leader within the business.
You will work closely with our two founders, acting as a bridge between them and the wider team, aligning priorities, removing bottlenecks and driving momentum across key initiatives. Alongside this, you will play a key role in bringing the team together, creating energy in the office and helping build a high-performing, motivated culture as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic and operational partner to the founders, translating vision into clear, actionable plans
- Drive execution across key business priorities, ensuring projects move forward at pace and do not stall
- Own business planning, tracking and reporting, bringing visibility and accountability across teams
- Act as a central coordination point across commercial, marketing and operations
- Identify and remove bottlenecks, improving ways of working across the business
- Support and develop operational capability within the team, including mentoring and developing key individuals
- Act as a visible leader across the business, bringing people together and creating a strong sense of alignment and momentum
- Help foster a high-performance, positive culture, motivating the team and setting the standard for pace, accountability and collaboration
- Manage upwards and across the leadership team, bringing alignment across different working styles
- Act as a trusted sounding board, able to challenge and influence when needed
- Own meeting cadence, agendas and follow-ups to ensure focus and efficiency at leadership level
What We’re Looking For
- A strong operator with commercial awareness, able to balance strategy with hands-on delivery
- Experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment, ideally within drinks
- Proven ability to work closely with founders or senior leadership in a scaling business
- A natural leader who can energise a team, build alignment and create a strong presence in the office
- Someone who thrives in ambiguity and can bring structure without slowing things down
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage different personalities and leadership styles
- Confident managing upwards and influencing at senior level
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Resilient, adaptable and low ego, happy to roll up sleeves and get stuck in
