Who We’re Looking For

We need a bold, energetic designer who can create high-impact, comic book-inspired visuals while ensuring consistency across WeVee, EcoMute, and the EcoMuting community. You'll be responsible for producing eye-catching graphics, AI-generated artwork, branded templates, and professional EV images - all with a recognisable WeVee style and a hint of subtle humour.

This role goes beyond just designing; we want someone who’s thinking ahead of the curve. You’ll help build a scalable, AI-powered creative system, develop WeVee’s visual storytelling, and ensure our brand stays fresh, engaging, and impactful.

What You’ll Do

• Design high-energy, comic-inspired visuals that make people stop and take notice
• Create AI-generated artwork using MidJourney and other tools, giving WeVee and EcoMute a unique edge
• Develop a consistent, recognisable brand identity for WeVee, EcoMute, and the EcoMuting community (EcoMuters)
• Inject subtle humour and playful energy into designs - because sustainability should be fun!
• Create branded templates for LinkedIn, social media, presentations, and internal documents
• Source and edit consistent studio shots of EV models for the WeVee website: front 3/4 hero shot, rear 3/4, and side profile (on a white background); standardised format for different car pages and comparison sections; and use carmaker online configurators as image sources, ensuring good resolution and a uniform style
• Design data-driven graphics and visual storytelling assets to communicate the impact of EcoMuting (e.g. CO₂ savings, adoption rates, etc.)
• Work with motion graphics tools (After Effects, Canva, Figma, or others) to create animated content for social media and web
• Ensure designs work seamlessly across web, social, print, and video
• Maintain and organise a central brand asset library to ensure design consistency across teams
• Stay ahead of AI design tools, automation, and the future of digital creativity

What You Bring

• A love for electric vehicles, sustainability, and bold visual storytelling
• 2+ years in graphic design, artwork creation, or AI-generated art
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong MidJourney / AI image generation skills (with a portfolio to show it!)
• Experience in car image editing and manipulation to ensure consistency across models
• A deep understanding of comic-style illustration—bold lines, vibrant colours, and dynamic composition
• Experience in creating branded templates for LinkedIn, social media, and corporate materials
• A knack for infusing humour into visuals without losing professionalism
• Ability to create motion graphics or simple animations for added engagement
• Experience in infographic design and sustainability storytelling
• Ability to work fast and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Bonus points for experience with AI-powered design tools beyond MidJourney (e.g. Canva AI, Figma AI, Runway, etc.)
