Our mission is to make invisible illness visible. We build wearable technology for illness, not fitness, for the 100m+ people living with complex chronic illnesses like Long Covid, ME/CFS, POTS, fibromyalgia and EDS. We've grown from $1M to $10M in subscription ARR in two years, and reached 300,000+ users.
Most people who need Visible have never heard of us. Ads on Meta, TikTok and Google are how most of them find us, so how those ads look and feel really matters.
🚀 Why we're hiring this role
Static ads, carousels and simple animations are under-used in our ads today, and new placements like Google Discover need image ads we don't yet have. We want someone who loves making ads: quick to stop the scroll, clear at a glance and on brand. This is social content, not polished website design.
You'll join a small creative team we're building: you, a short-form video editor and a paid ads copywriter, working the same days each week. We’re going to trial this set up for 3 months. You'll work alongside our Head of Marketing, our Brand Lead, our Influencer Manager and our paid performance agency, with brand check-ins from our design team.
🧑💻 What you'll be doing
Designing static, carousel and simple motion ads for Meta, TikTok and Google (Discover and YouTube)Turning one idea into several distinct looks, so platforms keep showing it to new peopleRefreshing winning ads with new headlines and visualsMaking lead ads and seasonal versions, like Black Friday and giftingSpending about a day a week trying new formats and AI tools, and bringing us what's worth scalingWorking with the editor and copywriter so words, visuals and video tell the same story🙋 Who you are
You've designed ads for paid social, and your portfolio shows statics, carousels and motionYou're strong in Figma or Adobe, and comfortable with motion (After Effects or similar)You use AI tools in your work, and can show where they helped and where you stepped inYou're fast, and you know the difference between an ad that stops the scroll and a pretty layoutYou bring ideas, not just files, and want to know what performed and why⭐ Nice to have, but not a showstopper
Lived experience of chronic illness, or knowledge of these conditionsFamiliarity with health advertising rules (ASA/CAP in the UK, FDA and FTC in the US, Meta's health policies)Experience at a health, wellness or subscription brandExperience designing Google Display or Discover adsNo one's a perfect match on paper. If you can see yourself in this role, apply.
