Townhouse was created with a single goal: to disrupt and reinvent the global nail salon industry. We are the fastest growing beauty brand in Europe with 40+ salons globally, and we are driven by a passionate and disruptive team to achieve our mission. We’ve brought together a world-class team from a wide range of industries. As we continue to expand, we need brilliant people (like you!) to help bring the Townhouse brand to life across the world.

Our values

Here at Townhouse, we live by our three core values:

-Details matter

-Passionate in everything we do

-Nice people

Townhouse was born out of the idea that ‘details matter’ - our customers strive for perfection in the details, and so do we. Our passion fuels our work and drives constant innovation. Finally, we pride ourselves on finding nice, kind-hearted people to join our mission to revolutionise the industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Partner Real Estate & Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of the Townhouse franchise network, helping our partners identify, assess and progress new salon locations from initial property opportunity through to opening. Acting as the central link between franchise partners and our internal teams, you’ll coordinate the development process and ensure new salons meet our commercial, operational and brand standards.

You’ll also help improve the way we develop salons internationally, identifying opportunities to reduce build costs, streamline processes and create more efficient, consistent ways of opening new locations. Working closely with our Partnerships, Operations, Finance, Brand, Design and Supply Chain teams, you’ll help partners navigate the development journey while driving value engineering, cost benchmarking and best practice across markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support franchise partners in identifying and assessing suitable salon locations, coordinating site approvals and preparing recommendations for the Real Estate Committee.
  • Act as the main Townhouse development contact for franchise partners, providing clear guidance on requirements, processes, timelines and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate the development journey from site approval through to opening, working with internal teams to ensure design standards, specifications and brand requirements are met.
  • Own and maintain the Salon Tracking Report (STR), providing accurate visibility of the global development pipeline, key milestones, opening dates, risks and next actions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce salon development costs through value engineering, build-cost benchmarking, supplier collaboration and standardised specifications, without compromising brand or operational standards.
  • Work with Design, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to share best practice, improve cost predictability and develop more efficient, repeatable salon solutions across markets.
  • Identify and address development delays and risks, providing regular pipeline updates to the Director of Partnerships and relevant stakeholders.
  • Continually improve development processes, templates and guidance to simplify the partner experience and support scalable international franchise growth.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have experience in multi-site retail, hospitality, leisure, beauty, franchising, or a similar consumer-facing environment, with exposure to property, development or store-opening projects.
  • You have a good understanding of commercial property, site selection and the key factors that influence the success of a new location.
  • You are commercially minded, with an understanding of development and build costs and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities. Experience in value engineering, cost management or standardisation is an advantage.
  • You have strong project-management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, manage competing priorities and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • You communicate confidently and clearly, and are comfortable working with franchise partners, suppliers and internal teams across different countries and time zones.
  • You are pragmatic, proactive and confident challenging assumptions constructively while balancing cost, quality and brand standards.
  • You can interpret plans, layouts and specifications, know when to involve technical specialists, and enjoy finding practical ways to improve processes.
  • You thrive in a growing international business and are motivated by helping partners deliver successful salon openings efficiently and consistently.
