Content Marketing Associate
Location: UK based/ Remote-1st
The Role
We’re looking for a Content marketing Associate to join us at tiney — a fast-growing startup on a mission to unlock the potential of every child by transforming early years education.
In this role, you’ll create high-impact content that grows awareness, engagement and trust in the tiney brand. You’ll report to our Growth Generalist and work closely with our design, sales and community to inspire more people to explore childminding and join the tiney network.
📍 Location: Remote-first (UK-based), with occasional in-person team days and off-sites in London
What You’ll Do
You’ll take ownership of key outcomes from day one, working in a small, high-impact team where everyone contributes to growth and delivery.
Create and publish content that grows reach, engagement and follows across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
Write engaging copy for emails and blog content that drives increased engagement, response rates and conversion of new tiney childminders.
Film and edit short-form videos - including self-filmed content, voiceovers and UGC - using tools like Canva and CapCut.
Engage with our community across channels - responding to comments and messages promptly, and actively starting and joining relevant discussions on Facebook communities to spark discussion and build awareness and interest in tiney.
Sourcing and curating high impact UGC and case studies from our community of tiney childminders
Tracking performance weekly, spotting trends and sharing insights to inform future content decisions.
Occasional travel within England to film content with our Childminders
Conduct user research and share actionable insights
What We’re Looking For
We care as much about mindset as we do experience — but this is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You’ll thrive here if you’re proactive, curious, and motivated by making a real difference.
You’ll bring:
Experience creating content that has driven visible results - whether that’s growth, engagement, conversation or conversion gained through 1–2 years in a fast-paced environment or through building your own channels.
A proven track record of building an audience on social media (Instagram, TikTok, FB, Youtube etc.)
Strong writing ability and confidence adapting tone across channels (short-form, long-form, conversational and educational styles).
An understanding of how different platforms work, and how content strategies should adapt to maximise reach, engagement and growth based on platform behaviour and algorithms.
Proven experience creating short-form videos: filming, editing, writing hooks and understanding what captures attention.
Experience collaborating with design or creative teams and following brand guidelines.
A curious and experimental mindset - you test, learn and iterate rather than waiting for perfection.
User centricity - you start from the audience, what they want, what they care about.
Nice to have:
Experience with early years education, parenting, micro-entrepreneurship or community-driven brands.
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Capcut, Hubspot, Brevo, Notion.
Exposure to a startup or scale-up environment
