We have a close-knit team of experts with a strong attention to detail and willingness to think differently. We’re seeking an imaginative and dynamic Content Creator to develop engaging video content optimised for both paid and organic social media platforms. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in video storytelling, a sharp eye for the perfect moment (and how to frame it up), and an intuitive understanding of trending content across TikTok, Instagram, and similar platforms.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly producing multiple creative hooks and video iterations to maximise engagement. Your skills include filming high-quality, visually-appealing content from your home studio, as well as the know-how to establish a mini studio environment at SURI HQ. You’re as confident behind an iPhone as you are a full-fat video camera, and ideally have a few other digital and analog capture methods as well—think Super 8, camcorder, digi cam, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, film, and edit captivating video content tailored for paid and organic campaigns.
  • Stay current with evolving social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram, applying insights to content strategy.
  • Quickly produce multiple video hooks and iterative versions to optimize performance.
  • Maintain and utilize home studio equipment effectively; ability to set up a functional mini studio at our office.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment with brand messaging and campaign goals.
  • Analyze content performance metrics to inform future creative decisions.
  • Proven experience in video creation and editing specifically tailored for social media.
  • Deep understanding of current digital design aesthetics and viral video trends.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar).
  • Skilled in managing studio setups, including lighting, audio, and camera operation.
  • Exceptional creativity, speed, adaptability, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The ideal candidate also:

  • Is experienced with direct response advertising and e-commerce marketing strategies
  • Is comfortable appearing on camera when needed (even if just hands)
