In Summary...

Love making machines run like clockwork? We are looking for experienced Machine Operators to handle the setup and monitoring of our packing lines, focusing on boosting our OE and keeping things running smoothly.

What does the role involve?...

Setting up the case packer machines ready for production.

Running routine maintenance of machinery.

Ensuring quality and productivity targets are met consistently.
recording and monitoring downtime.

Adjusting the machine as needed to improve quality and maintain line speeds.

Carryout in process quality checks at specified intervals and record downtime.

Other packing line duties as required to support the smooth running of production.

You will need/be...

Essentials:

Recent and relevant hands-on experience with semi-automated machinery in a similar production/packing environment.

To be keen to learn and able to quickly adapt to change.

To be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, and act on your own initiative as well as follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

To be able balance multiple tasks whilst effectively managing other’s expectations and delegating where necessary.

Effective communication skills with a strong level of conversational and written English.

An understanding of best practice production procedures and health and safety regulations.

Desirable:

Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience

The smol print

This role will be based at our warehouse in Marden, the shift pattern is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm (45 hours per week) with 1 hour of unpaid breaks during each full shift.
