We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners
We help everyday runners become outstanding by building an incredible app providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon.
We’re growing extremely fast! In November 2023 we closed a $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the iPhone app of the year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built & in 2025 we were acquired by Strava!
Our ambition is huge: to become the go-to global leading training platform for millions of runners everywhere. We’re growing with purpose and looking for people who want to build something meaningful with lasting impact. With the recent acquisition by Strava accelerating our journey, now is a really magical time to join. 🚀
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Growth, you’ll be focused on optimising web experiences to drive growth across key touchpoints. Your role will involve managing the Runna website, driving SEO efforts, and optimising web-to-app flows. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Runna Website
Overseeing Runna Website: including maintaining existing pages, ideating, scoping, roadmap planning and prioritisation.
Working closely with engineering and design teams to ensure high quality delivery against the roadmap.
Conversion rate optimisation: constant & iterative multivariate testing using web experimentation tools like VWO and Statsig.
Taking ownership of Runna’s landing page strategy for acquisition channels including performance marketing, partnerships & ambassadors.
Managing web conversion tracking, including web-to-app flows, ensuring data visibility and informed decision-making across the team.
Web Acquisition Strategy
Managing the web-to-app flow, ensuring a seamless transition and optimising for conversions.
Collaborating with product and engineering teams and performance marketing team to implement improvements based on user data and campaign insights.
SEO Strategy
Measuring and reporting on Runna’s SEO performance
Implementing Runna’s SEO strategy
Taking ownership of programmatic SEO efforts
Staying on top of technical SEO performance and continuously looking for opportunities to maximise organic acquisition via web.
If you’re a data-driven problem-solver passionate about experimentation and optimisation, this role is for you!
We’re looking for someone that loves…
Optimising: You thrive on improving performance and driving measurable results - be that through SEO or CRO.
Experimenting: Running A/B tests excites you, from small tweaks to major redesigns, and you enjoy analysing the results.
Collaborating & Communicating - you love working with multiple teams and stakeholders; and you’re just as comfortable collaborating with designers as you are developers.
Conducting User Research - speaking to users to understand more about what makes them tick and how we can help them achieve their goals.
What experience we’re looking for
We care the most about you looking at the ‘We’re looking for someone that loves…’ section and thinking ‘Wow this role was made for me’. That said, we do need you to have 1.5+ years of proven experience in growth marketing and/or product management (web).
About you:
You are data and results-driven. You love to test, learn, iterate and repeat. You’re motivated by seeing the quantifiable impact of the team’s work
You’re a “doer”; not just a “thinker”. You’re hands on and want to roll up your sleeves / get stuck in
You’re a problem-solver with a strategic mind
You’re organised, efficient, and can execute at pace
You (hopefully!) love running and you’re passionate about our mission to make running training effective, easy and enjoyable for everyone
You’re ideally London based (or able to work in person 2+ days per week), but we’ll be open to remote for exceptional people
Bonus points if:
You know your way around WebFlow
You have experience at a mobile app business
You have previously been responsible for web acquisition journeys (e.g. web to web/ web to app)
