Senior National Account Manager – Delivered Wholesale
At WARP we have a big plans to lead the way in snacking. Our two brilliant brands have already got strong presence in key UK channels, but this role will be crucial in helping to accelerate our footprint in the Impulse channel. The role reporting into the Head of Impulse, will see you drive our agenda in Delivered Wholesale. In this role, you will manage some of our core customers; Cotswold Fayre, CN Foods and Auguste Noel, with the opportunity to lead and develop a team of two NAM’s. Given the account management and line management scope of the role, how you help drive the channel strategy, will be a critical part of the role. The Person:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales professional, who’s looking for their next big challenge. They should have a proven track record of managing customers in Impulse, in particular within a diverse channel. Experience within this customer base would be a plus. They will have an entrepreneurial approach to their work - able to work independently, but also demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate. Working at pace and the ability to manage ambiguity are important. Highly commercial, a strategic mindset and proven ability to build powerful, strategic relationships, are essential. Finally, they will be proactive, results-driven, and energised by new opportunities and challenges.
The Role:
You will be based out of our London office and will be responsible for managing and growing revenue and market share. Your role will involve relationship building, and hands-on execution to maximise sales opportunities and go after our ambitious global vision for the brands. Team management and channel vision are key.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships externally with our customers and internally with key stakeholders
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territories to expand our market presence.
- People Management: Lead, motivate and develop your team, to drive business and personal growth. Communicate effectively and unlock growth through others.
- Take full responsibility of the P&L aside from normal revenue management, you will be a key part of launching new formats for this channel, as such, you’ll need to own the P&L all the way down to EBIT
- Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and provide regular reports to drive strategic recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and in particular marketing, finance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and optimal product availability.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, snacking or adjacent category experience is helpful
- Experience managing and driving growth in complex customers, specific experience within our definition of Delivered Wholesale is helpful
- Highly numerate, comfortable interpreting complex data sets and working in Excel
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with proven experience in P&L ownership
- Being able to demonstrate people management skills
