Join our snack-loving team
We’re looking for a HR Advisor to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

About the role

At KP Snacks, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an HR Advisor to join our Ashby Human Resources team, supporting more than 600 colleagues and over 35 line managers across the site.

You’ll provide proactive, pragmatic and people-focused support across a broad range of HR activities. You'll work closely with managers to help create a positive colleague experience, ensure people processes are applied fairly and consistently, and support the delivery of key business objectives.

If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and helping colleagues and managers succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you?
We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

  • Annual salary of £32,000, plus a 5% (targeted) annual bonus scheme

  • KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions

  • 25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days

  • Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme

  • KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback and wellbeing support

  • Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life

What will you be doing?

  • Providing day-to-day HR support
Working with managers across the Ashby site to provide practical guidance on people matters and support the delivery of the site's people plan

  • Supporting employee relations activities
Assisting with disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management cases, helping to ensure matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with company policy

  • Using people data to support decision making
Producing HR reports, monitoring key people metrics and helping identify trends and opportunities to improve colleague experience and business performance

  • Promoting colleague engagement and wellbeing
Supporting engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities and action plans that help create a positive and inclusive working environment

  • Supporting HR processes and projects
Managing transactional HR activities, collaborating with Payroll and People Services and contributing to local and business-wide HR initiatives

Who are we?
We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

We’re committed to inclusion
We’re building a workplace where everyone belongs. If you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you – your unique perspective could be just what we need. And if there’s anything we can do to make the process easier for you, just let us know.

Job requirements

We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:

  • Experience working in an HR environment
Experience in an HR, People or Advisory role, with exposure to a range of HR activities and processes

  • An interest in employee relations and people management
Strong experience supporting absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to work effectively with managers, colleagues and stakeholders, building trust and credibility across the business

  • A proactive and organised approach
The ability to manage multiple priorities, work with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • Confidence using data and systems
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and interpreting information to support decision making and continuous improvement
