WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

The SSC Accounting controller acts as a versatile accounting resource supporting multiple financial processes across departments within the finance team with an analytic mindset. This role thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety in daily tasks, and can adapt quickly to support various finance functions such as accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting, as well as leading cross-functional improvement projects.

Here’s the main elements of the role...

• Act as a flexible resource within finance, supporting multiple processes across departments.

• Participate in and improve monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

• Prepare documentation and data for internal and external audits.

• Lead cross-functional projects and drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

• Provide support across various finance functions (e.g., AP, AR, GL, reporting).

• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.

• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

• Work cross-functionally to ensure efficient processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

In this role, you will report to the Head of E&I Accounting SSC, and the location for this role is our HQ in Malmö.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.

• Master’s degree in Accounting.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) and MS Excel.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
