The Role

We’re looking for an exceptional EA to support our Head of People and help build the infrastructure behind a world-class People function. This is a high-ownership, high-trust role where you’ll sit at the heart of how Healf grows and scales our team. You’ll handle critical workflows across payroll, contracts, documentation, and people operations - removing friction, tightening processes, and freeing the Head of People to focus on strategic work.

You’ll thrive here if you love structure, obsess over detail, and find energy in solving problems before anyone else even spots them. This is a role for someone who moves fast, stays calm under pressure, and wants to build the systems behind a high-performance culture.

Where You’ll Make An Impact

• Own payroll updates end-to-end, ensuring all information is accurate and deadlines are hit every month.

• Prepare and manage employment contracts and ensure a smooth, timely workflow as the team continues to scale.

• Keep all People documentation (Wiki, internal guides, playbooks) clean, current, and organised - making sure information lives where it should.

• Manage and maintain our HRIS (Humaans), including chasing new joiners for missing data and keeping all records spotless.

• Support with ad-hoc admin + operational tasks across the People team - policies, small automation tasks, data requests, and anything that removes friction from the business.

• Spot patterns in recurring questions and update documentation so the organisation becomes more self-serve over time.

• Protect the Head of People’s bandwidth by ensuring critical tasks don’t slip and information flows smoothly.

• Help strengthen scalable, efficient People Ops processes as Healf grows from 150+ to 300+ people and beyond.

• The ability to work cross-functionally and build trust quickly with teammates.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in People Ops, HR coordination, payroll support, or contract administration.

• Experience in a fast-growing startup or similarly high-pace environment.

• Experience managing or improving internal documentation systems.

• A systems or automation mindset - you enjoy tightening workflows and removing inefficiencies.

• A genuine interest in wellbeing, high performance, and the Healf mission.
